Are you a holder of a PPL licence and you want to improve your skills? Flight planning over clouds, not being limited by the weather as much, and safer flying are only few of many great advantages of Basic Instrument Rating.
Basic Instrument Rating (BIR) has huge advantages for pilots who want to fly as hobby pilot under IFR Flight rules. The practical training has no minimum hours and there are only 8 hours of theory lessons. This course is intended for PPL licence holders with 2. class medical with AUDIO examination.
Theory is fully online and lectures are individual. It will be only you and me. Final exams for BIR are in English and consist of three modules.
During our lessons we are going to talk about IFR theory, how to plan a Flight from A to B, Jeppesen maps reading and much more. I will focus on a practical point of view so you are prepared for your future flights.
The whole course can be done in two weeks, if you have time to study. Pretty good, right ?
At the end of the course, after you have passed a final test, you will get a certificate of completion that is EASA valid, so you can do exams in any EASA country. This course is mandatory for signing up for exams.
In the whole course, you will communicate with me via email or phone and all consultations will be with me as well. I will always try to adapt to your time preferences as much as possible, just the lessons must be in a period from morning to evening, local Prague time.
Honza has been teaching theory and practical training at our school for more than 10 years. A few years ago Honza found out that he is missing teaching a lot and left the airlines to become full-time Flight and Ground instructor and Coach of future pilots. He teaches all theory trainings and several ATPL subjects. He is flying as an instructor for all licences, qualifications and privileges that we teach at our school. All the way from microlights to multi engine aircraft, both Visual and Instrument Flight Rules. He is an ICAO English Examiner and experienced English teacher. He has more than 5000 hours, mostly as an instructor.
You can do theory course with use even if you plan to do practical training elsewhere. If you want to see the Czech republic and fly with us, it will be our pleasure to fly the whole training with you from the Sazena airport in the Czech republic.
