Prices of the CPL training

Requirements for the student

  • A valid class 1 medical certificate
  • Minimum age of 18
  • A valid radiotelephone license
  • A valid pilot license PPL (A) and have completed 150 hours flight time; including 50 hours as PIC on aeroplanes of which 10 hours shall be cross-country.
  • A certificate of CPL or ATPL theory course completion

Course of the training

Theoretical part

It is set at 200 hours, or it can be part of a theoretical ATPL course of 650 hours. For IR qualification holders, the ATPL theoretical training is shortened to 450 hours.

Practical part

To obtain a CPL (A) pilot license, 25 hours is required, of which 20 hours are on a Cessna 150 and 5 hours on a C172 RG aircraft.

For IR qualification holders, 15 hours are required, of which 10 hours are on a Cessna 150 and 5 hours on a C172 RG aircraft.

Completing the course and obtaining a license

Theoretical examinations consist of a test at the Civil Aviation Authority, they may be taken during the practical training.

The practical part can be taken by the pupil only after passing the theoretical exams. Before the skill test, the pupil must have completed at least 200 hours of flying, of which 100 hours as pilot-in-command, including 20 hours of overflights as a pilot-in-command and he/she must be a holder of NIGHT qualification for night flights.

The practical part is reviewed by the examiner of the Civil Aviation Authority. The exam consists of a piloting technique and a cross country navigation to a controlled airport.
